For many years, Burkina Faso has been reliant on its cotton production, however, many Burkinabes have now diversified successfully into the leather industry. Our artisans produce an array of products using high quality leather produced in Kaya, north-east of Ouagadougou. Purchasing leather, along with the machinery and equipment used to create leather products, is expensive, and it is often a struggle for our artisans to acquire the leather they need for production. Therefore, when they do work with leather, our artisans ensure that their work is intricate and carried out with meticulous care.
